Due to it's recent growth, Affymax (a Palo Alto based Biopharmaceutical Company) has greatly expanded its workforce, resulting in higher worker density and the forced conversion of high cost/sf laboratory space into low cost/sf office space. In order to avoid these conversions, Affymax contracted with CONima to provide master plans for expanding into an adjacent facility to house a large portion of its administrative workforce and server space, thereby allowing the higher cost laboratory infrastructure within its existing space to be properly utilized. |
