this identity is under realization...

At the dawn of electricity's invention, there was great promise for the world. Electricity not only provided light, it provided a path to unify cultures, and democratize the world through improved communication and technology. There were many obstacles on this path, not the least of which was distribution. In its infancy, electricity was only available as a direct current system, which limited the distance it could be transmitted. In 1880's, through the work of scientists and engineers such as Lucien Gaulard, John Gibbs, William Stanley Jr., and most notably Nikola Tesla, distance was overcome.
